Subscribe to Event Categories
Let visitors subscribe to the event categories they care about — and get notified when new events match.

Follow what matters
Visitors browsing your calendar can subscribe to specific categories — music, sports, family, food, or whatever categories you've defined. When new events are published in those categories, subscribers are notified. It's a 'follow' button for event types, turning one-time visitors into recurring users.

Opt-in, preference-based
Subscriptions are fully opt-in. Visitors choose their categories and can update their preferences or unsubscribe at any time. The system respects privacy preferences and complies with GDPR consent requirements. No one gets emails they didn't ask for.
Build an engaged audience
Every subscriber is someone who has explicitly said 'I want to hear about these events.' Over time, your subscriber base becomes a direct channel to an engaged audience — people who care about your city's events and actively want to be informed. That's more valuable than any social media algorithm.
