Your taxonomy, your rules
Cruncho doesn't impose a fixed category list. You create the categories that make sense for your city or destination: 'Outdoor Activities,' 'Art & Culture,' 'Family-Friendly,' 'Food & Drink,' 'Nightlife' — or whatever structure your visitors expect. Add, rename, reorder, or archive categories at any time from the admin panel.
Categories drive the visitor experience
Categories appear as filter buttons on your calendar, as sections in the Widget Carousel, and as subscription options for visitors. The categories you define shape how visitors discover events. A well-chosen category structure makes the difference between a calendar visitors browse casually and one they use actively.
Works with Triple Tagging
On plans that include the Triple Tagging System, categories become one of three independent tag layers. This means visitors can filter by category and by area and by audience simultaneously. Customized Categories is the foundation — Triple Tagging adds the extra dimensions.
